This place is magic. I grew up on a small farm, but over the last few decades have become a city girl through and through. Our visit to Willow-Witt combined the best of both worlds, reminding me of the amazing joys of farm living, minus the hard work 🙂

We stayed in the gorgeous Farmhouse Studio–compact but perfect. It has everything you need plus wonderful little extras everywhere. We loved being in the heart of the farm, watching the goats grazing in the fields through the big windows.

Spending time with the animals was fantastic. They are clearly content and happy in their lives at Willow-Witt, and we loved gathering eggs and of course spending lots of time playing with the sweet and friendly goats. The dogs are great too!

The owners and farm helpers were all terrific, helping the girls accomplish age-appropriate chores, and patiently answering all our questions. We had meat, eggs and produce from the farm while we were there, and it was all delicious. We made the short drive into Ashland twice, and thoroughly enjoyed the shops, restaurants, and parks we explored. We did a lovely hike at the farm, too.

I would return here in a heartbeat. It was relaxing yet energizing at the same time. This place is a sanctuary. I’m thankful for my time here, and hope to return soon!
