We stayed in the “Farmhouse Studio” over Labor Day weekend, and it was beyond fantastic! First off, the Studio is a gorgeous place to stay. It’s compact, but it has everything you need, and it’s so darn cute, you just want to pinch its cheeks! Its location right in the center of the farm is perfect–we loved watching the goats grazing in the pastures right from our windows. And the farm is just wonderful.

Our favorite thing was hanging out in the pasture with the goats, they are so friendly, they just love getting pets and love from people. We also had a great time helping with chores, including gathering eggs …  all the animals were clearly content and happy living at Willow-Witt. The dogs are great too 🙂

And all of the staff, from the owners to the farm helpers were wonderful, especially with the kids. They gave them tasks they could handle, and explained things very well. While we were there we had delicious meat, eggs and produce from the farm–yum! We also went on a hike that was lovely, but mostly just enjoyed hanging out in the farmyard, chilling and playing with the goats. I would come back in a heartbeat, and hope to return again within the year!

p.s. The town of Ashland, a short time away, is a gem.
