Just recently had the luxury of a 2 night stay in a Rustic Furnished Wall Tent. Everything about it was wonderful. We checked in at 4 pm, were warmly greeted by Lanita Witt and Suzanne Willow, the owners. We got oriented and settled in and then headed into Ashland for dinner and a Shakespeare play. It was an easy 15 minute drive and thanks to lovely solar powered jar lights, we had no trouble finding our way back to the tent after dark. The bed linens felt like sleeping in clouds. The next morning we enjoyed a tour of the farm and learned all about the sustainable way they raise their goats, and chickens and manage the historic farm. In the afternoon we went for a gentle 3 mile hike around the property among wildflowers of all colors (no ticks, no poison oak). We prepared our dinner in the very well outfitted kitchen and made with sausages and greens purchased from the farm store. YUM! It felt a little like a European vacation and was definitely a luxurious way to camp and spend time in the outdoors.
