We stayed at the ranch for two nights in the studio. The studio is beautiful with country charm. We felt comfortable living in this space as a family of five. This is a communal experience with the owners living next door to the studio. Our children are 3 (twins) and 7 and enjoyed playing with the baby goats. Our oldest daughter latched onto on of the farm hands- Amber and worked with her as much as she could. I appreciate ambers patience in helping our daughter assist her with her daily chores. My husband and I quickly realized that we are not working farm people. We admire the farm hands working in all day in the 100 degree heat!
Things to note- there’s no air conditioner, [spotty] cell phone service … and be prepared to live among the farm bugs (flys etc). The kitchen is stocked with organic cooking supplies. You can harvest whatever veggies are ready for harvest and pay farmers market prices for them.
