Birding at Willow-Witt Ranch

Wild visitors turn each season at the ranch into a colorful and surprising adventure.

We encourage seasonal wildlife to call the ranch home, from placing nesting boxes around the property, providing bird feeders and water stations at the farm, regenerating wetland meadows by planting willows, encouraging native pollinator plants, to protecting the property from insecticides and poisons by farming organically.  So bring your binoculars (or borrow ours)  to our birding hotspot. Birding on your own, or with a group, you are bound to enjoy the diversity of birds and their songs. It’s another great reason to come for a Farm Stay or to take a self-guided tour at the ranch.

Southern Oregon is host to a remarkable diversity of bird species and birding opportunities. Visit these sites for more Southern Oregon birding information: Klamath Bird Observatory, Klamath Basin Birding Trail, Rogue Valley Audubon Society, Klamath Audubon Society.
