Why visit Willow-Witt Ranch?

In the rapidly changing world, it’s rare to find a beautiful valley, a property stewarded for conservation and ecosystem health for 40 years, that welcomes visitors to hike, learn, and savor: this is Willow-Witt Ranch. Founders Suzanne Willow and Lanita Witt saw the beauty and possibilities of this hidden gem and manifested a legacy of land conservation and regeneration, alternative energy, and sustainable agriculture. Dr. Witt, a longtime beloved Rogue Valley physician, died December 15, 2022; her wife Suzanne continues their work of conserving and restoring this special property’s ecosystems. Together they created a legacy nonprofit, The Crest, with the mission of cultivating connection between people and nature.

Willow-Witt Ranch’s 445 acres encompass a picturesque valley, breathtaking views of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Ashland, healthy forests and wetlands, and miles of hiking trails. Committed to Earth care and stewardship, the ranch offers a small working organic farm with friendly animals, distinct accommodations, outstanding campground and event venues, and a dedicated natural burial cemetery.

Discover complex ecosystems and explore your surroundings from a variety of on-site accommodations. The spacious Meadow House overlooks wetlands and forested hills and is perfect for both private retreats and family gatherings. The cozy Farmhouse Studio is at the heart of the farm and gardens, close to our friendly animals. Our forested campground offers tent sites, luxury furnished wall tents with private decks, and ADA-accessible group accommodations for up to 60. The campground includes an upscale Cookhouse, solar electricity, comfortable Bathhouse, and outdoor showers overlooking beautiful meadows.

Offset your vacations carbon footprint and live in harmony with nature — a world away at Willow-Witt Ranch.

We acknowledge that the Shasta, Upland Takelma, Latgawa and Athabaskan peoples stewarded these lands for millennia. We also acknowledge the intergenerational trauma caused by their forcible removal from their ancestral lands. The people whose ancestors lived on this land are now citizens of The Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indians, The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, or The Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde.

This is the best wedding I’ve ever attended. The field where the wedding took place was gorgeous. Big sky views and wild flowers everywhere. Stargazing at night. Several hikes to choose from during the day. I saw the turtle pond probably 5 times and caught glimpses of Mt. Shasta from up there too.

Thank you so much for embracing us goat (and livestock) people. We learned so much from you and appreciate how much work and love you’ve put into the farm itself, the animals, the trees, the veggie garden, and the sustainability concept. You’ve done a wonderful job in educating the people on what a rewarding life […]
